Long-term use of sponge rubber, which tends to "flatten out," required regular replacement, but high resilience rubber sponge does not "flatten" even with long-term use.
Utilizing the inherent elasticity of sponge rubber along with the characteristic of "not flattening" and a certain load response, it can be used as a "damping material."
High resilience rubber sponge has an extremely small permanent deformation strain, making it excellent in shape retention, and it instantly returns to its original shape even after being released from a state of continuous pressure over a long period.
